Prayer for Catholic
The Catholic church is often viewed in a negative light from other denominations that may even go as far as to label the Catholic church false or a misrepresentation of Jesus Christ.
I do not believe this for a moment.

The great Apostle Paul talked a lot about the power of “one” in Ephesians and taking up the armour of God. Do you really think that while he wrote the epistle that his hidden motive was to create separation among the Christian churches? Do you really feel that this great man, a powerful leader of the early church, was all about fighting the spiritual battle alone?
The power of “one” does not mean “me against the world.” Actually, to quite the contrary, the power of “one” represents one God, one church, and one army united as one.
How can we fight the good battle when God’s army, the church, is off fighting their own personal battles?
Have you ever heard of a dysfunctional army that won a battle?
It’s time we stopped bickering, complaining, and criticizing all the other denominations with different practices, traditions, and rituals. Understand that a true Christian, regardless of the denomination, shares the same beliefs and serves the same God.
Prayer for the Catholic church has been common of late. Many other denominations feel the need or calling from God to pray for the original church. We need to pray for the Catholic priests – first for those who serve God and are holding up his name and secondly for those select few who do not and have even been involved in scandals. We need to pray for the Catholics and pray that their church, just like every other church, is holding up and representing the word of God well.

Pray that they receive the same love and attention from God as every other denomination. Pray that they may not experience any rejection, criticism, or hate from other denominations with a bias against Catholics.
Pray that different denominations would silence their harsh words against each other and understand that their speech is not very God-like. Pray that their actions would resemble a true Christian – one of love, mercy, and grace. Pray that in those rare circumstances around the world, violence would halt. Pray that different denominations would put down their swords and learn to love again. Pray for peace between Catholics and Protestants. Pray for peace in general. Violence is nonsense for the bible says, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they are the children of God.”
Thank the Lord for all the Catholic believers much like we thank him daily for all our Christian brothers and sisters. We are all mighty and when we join together hand in hand, voice to voice, we are one powerful and immovable force.
It’s time we stopped judging and turned to mere loving. Love and accept all our Christian believers along with those non-believers.
Pray that the church, especially the Catholic church, is still able to reach and touch people’s lives much like it did hundreds of years ago. Include prayer for Catholic traditions and customs. Thank the Lord that the Catholic church is still a dedicated and extremely ritualistic church that is not afraid to give God the time of day, everyday.
If you are Catholic, may we pray that you’ll be eternally blessed and forever filled with the love of the Lord? Extend this prayer for Catholic believers…
God, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, King of Kings – thank you father. For you provide and continue to provide. For in the darkest and most bleak situation, you show up. For when all the cowards have ran away and given up, or have lost hope and faith in us – you continue to provide. Thank you Lord Jesus. Bless it be your name. Father fill us up with the Holy Spirit. Provide direction upon us and give us the path we are to follow. Forgive us for our sins and when we fall short. Forgive us for our failures and wide range of mistakes. May we grow more perfect and become more Christ-like every single day. May we only progress and learn your ways.
Father, thank you for the Catholic church, the original church, which continues to serve as a place and hope for many believers worldwide. Father, protect and draw near to the priests who lead these great churches. Draw near to those whom serve you in the Catholic church. Thank for these special individuals. May they continue to be blessed!
